Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

The Wooksta!

Just arrived from eBay:

Blackbird DH Mosquito 32lb cannon conversion

I would have got it from them direct had they been at Bolton, but no, I had to order it via eBay as Glenn wasn't there.

Nice conversion, although I think it really should have had the nosecone from the TseTefly.  No matter, I have a mould and resin, and I think I may have a few cast anyway.

Hmmm, if I added the four blade props, tropical filters and naval attachments for a 618 Sqn one in the Far East?  Maybe I need another one...

The Wooksta!

And if I haven't already got enough Airfix Mosquitoes, I have to buy another from Uncle Frank, this time a B.XVI (of which I only have 3) using the cash monies from the Meteor I picked up for me mate Bob.

Not sure how this one will end up, probably a real B.35 with 139 Sqn.  There's some interesting - to me, anyway, - photos of their aircraft in various post war schemes.

NARSES2

Would be interested to hear your further thoughts on the kit once you've properly 'explored' it, Chris.

Back in Windsor working.

Hasegawa 1/72 AH-64A. Going to be a compound like the Cheyenne. And speaking of Cheyenne, I bought another Atlantis 1/72 AH-56A. So that meant I had to buy the Academy OV-10A to get the updated engine nacelles.

Went back to the hobby shop today and snagged a Hasegawa AV-8A. I forgot that if you're building a compound Apache, you need wings and a tail lol

With the expected appearance of the Trumpeter 1/700 HMS Queen Elizabeth CVF, sometime this year, changing focus back to ships again, especially carriers, so have had a few delivered this week.

Magic Hobby 1/700 CVN 79 UUS Geralad  R Ford with the extra 28 aircraft boxing.
Pitroad 1/700 DDH-184 Kaga 2024, this being the new version of the kit with the rebuilt bows and F-35B airgroup

Plus a very tasty 3D 1/700 HMS Ark Royal IV off ebay from China. Very nice as has the printed mastsa and Radar that put me off the Resin kit anf the photoetch. Already have the decals, deck vehicles and Aircraft, so likely next build.

Two deliveries today.

From Evil-Bay, so I can have a 'cuda, a Firefly, a Battle, and a Fulmer in the one true scale.
Barracuda by Fred Maillardet, on Flickr

...and from the city hobby shop, because they sent me a 'back in stock" notice the day I had been listening to Al Murray claiming this was the greatest Allied tank of the war.  This might be a RW build - Percy Hobart's 79th Armoured Division.

That FROG Barra is a pretty good kit, I built 2-3 of them back in the day, a fascinating aeroplane. The SH one is better of course, but it's a zillion years newer.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model
