Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

I decided to go with the light blue gray mongoose:

(BTW if you replace the bagixx,.jpg number in the URL, you get to see more images).

I have an AK Interactive paint that matches this color almost exactly.

The color is bluer in natural light. I made some Ukrainian digital camo decals. The original vehicle has some overspray which I think would be difficult to reproduce intentionally at scale.

I also finished Steve McQueen. While the face was nicely sculpted, the seams on the jacket and other features are too soft. Undercutting resin (at least this resin) would not be worth the effort. It would certainly chip.

Now seeing the real thing, there's one big change I'd make for civiy use ...replace the seats for something a lot more comfortable and supportive...also add more steel tubing for strength and 4 or 5 point racing harnesses ..5 point if I up power this little beast
I'd make a great cheap vehicle to upgrade and modify for paddock bashing  ;D
Dave yours is looking great so far mate and I'm very tempted to get one ...or scratch build one from me bits box 🤔
I think there's a opportunity here to build something cool and 6x6 ..ive got a couple of Humvees somewhere 😆

Wheels are on, and I've started on weathering (plus fixing some mistakes). Not 100% sold on my decals, but I can still hide the worst under some dirt:

I did some green overspray through a mask (similar to the real life Mongoose) but didn't want to go too far.

It's been sprayed quickly in a war zone - any 'mistakes' are within the margin of error/getting it into service rather than looking pretty or perfect.

OK, I'm going with that story... thanks, Rick! Saved me some work.

Looks cool to me! I still want a real one.....

Happy to help!  ;D

This has been such a fun and trouble-free build so far.

I added an offset table and support pipe for a Mk.19 grenade launcher (from the AFV Club M151 RWS kit). The Mk.19 overwhelms the tiny vehicle! I also added a trailer hitch from the Magic Factory MRZR D4:

The stain on the ammo box is from the Tamiya panel shader, which was still drying when I took these pictures:

I also painted and added the PE basket:

The MRZR D4: trailer may be too big for this vehicle...

With a Javelin and spare tube in the basket. Steve thinks this may be a close to maximum loadout:

Still need to finish the weathering and add a figure or two.

HALO Warthog!  ;D

Looks really good - overgunned and looking for trouble, just the way I like that sort of thing.

Keep the basket. You'll need to carry another ammo can. There's only 32 rounds in there. This is looking better by the minute.
