Hm, yeah, that'd work a treat.  :o

Model of the Tsar Tank won best of show at SMW a couple of years ago  ;D

If I can get myself up and running again then I'll have a crack at this -

You cannot view this attachment.

Point is does it class as two entries ? One for the basic Aiir Cruiser concept and the other because it has to be a seriously bad idea to have a crack at a Unicraft kit ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

PR19_Kit

Yes, and yes.  ;D

Hmmm, I have a couple of Unicraft's knocking about somewhere too...............

The "Air Cruiser" concept was a bad idea (whatever it meant)?

i was playing with the idea of a jet powered Fokker D.VII, the whole would propably be torn/falling apart by the time it reaches the end of the runway  ;D

then there was an idea for an inflatable airplane, but Goodyear beat me to it.

Its not that much of a "bad idea"...there's mixed power Stearman on the airshow circuit.

This video just crossed my Youtube feed, and it couldn't be more perfect:

Hmm, I was thinking as a what-if of maybe a jet powered, open cockpit, biplane witht the intake right behind the pilot, since putting the inlet on top of the fuselage makes alot of sense for preventing dirt and debris from getting in the the intake, while an open air cockpit should give the pilot great situational awareness, and the extra wing should help provided added lift to help reduce take-off runs.  It seems like a win/win/win situation.  I can't image what could possibly go wrong.

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .
