I got the front axle installed tonight. My wife had a gall bladder attack Wednesday at 4AM. Surgery was today so she'll be home tomorrow. She's doing better already but not much building getting done. I'll be the cook and butler this weekend but things will be better next week.
Mate ..wifey first ..models like fourth or fifth for a day for a week 🤔 😅

Here's a pic of the rear wheels. One of these is the outside wheel but the instructions are unclear.

The center hub is slightly larger than the other but otherwise are identical. Anybody out there build this kit and have this figured out? I'd like to get this right and not have the wheels too far out or too far in. Then there is the ridiculous mismatch between the two halves of the rim. I'll try to fill and sand that as best I can on the outside wheel and never mind the inside wheel. These wheels really do suck but the price of resin is totally insane. A die cast toy has better wheels than this. Otherwise things are coming together. I'll start on the back axles next. Maybe that will help get this wheel situation figured out.

Ken an easy way to identify what goes where is I think 4 have long centre's and 2 are the short ones for the fronts .
It's been donkeys since I built this version with the ten wheels ..the ones I've got now are the bigfoot version with the even worse wheels .

Looking at a downloaded PDF of the instructions, the wheel with the longer axle join is the rear wheel. However, for confirmation, you should have 4 x part 96, which are the inner rear wheel hub sections with the axle attachment & only 2 x part 95, which are the front wheels with axle attachment.

Ms. K says thanks to all of you scruffy looking ruffians!
I can see which are the two front wheels, that's no problem. These are the eight wheels that make up the duals on the rear axles. Four of them are just a tiny bit shorter than the other four. About 2-3mm. Just enough to throw things off when I try to put the bed on or the M113 hull. I'm thinking I"ll have to assemble everything but the wheels and see which looks better at that point.

I'm trying to remember if I had any of those issues ...if I did I probably did a work around to sort it.
Knowing Italeri tho it wouldn't surprise me if there's a fitment issue .

I have some rubbery type tires from some kids toys that would work better.

I built the rear axles last night. Test fitting the wheels showed that the wheel with the longer hub is the inside dual so that the rim clears the springs. Not by much but better than the other way around. Problem solved!
