BAe Nimrod/ Lockheed Martin P-3 Orion/Breguet Br.1150 Atlantic

Each one of them performed the task of anti-submarine warfare but each one could perform other tasks RW or whiff. The Nimrod and the Orion were based on civil airliners so there's nothing to stop you from converting them back or using the Atlantic as a troop transporter. You can if you want kitbash one or more of them.
I know that the Rolls-Royce Tynes fit on the Lockheed Martin P-3, another suggestion could be a three/four engined Atlantic or even a jet version of the Orion. Then there's the cargo/freighter options, even a Guppy wouldn't look too out of place.
Float plane versions or flying boat, AEW- several proposals for the Breguet/Dassault Atlantic but none converted. Even in-flight refuelling not performed as standard on the Orion nor the Atlantic and what about using them as tankers.
Lots of different colour schemes and decals to be applied as long as your build includes one or more of the above.

Suggestion number two
Copy cats or rebadging vehicles. If you can't afford the real thing then make a convincing copy but by changing the badge. I'm restricting this to trikes and motor bikes, I don't think that this subject has been covered but I would love to see some scale model motor bikes or motorcycles on the forum,  a few more Bond Bug alternatives ( other makes are available).

Suggestion number three
Water bombers/airborne fire fighters.
Whether you want to turn the Shorts Sunderland into a water bomber or use the Airbus A400M, there's a lot of proposals in whiffland. As long as you don't build anything in current use or any retired aircraft that have been used to tackle forest or bush fires.

Suggestion number four
The Packet Boats, the forerunner of the  British postal system.  Sailing ships were used right up until the 1930s for carrying parcels/packets and letters around the world.
You are allowed to build your vessel powered by steam but not a steam turbine either petrol or diesel .I'm not ruling out a nuclear powered sailing ship although I have never seen one but it doesn't mean that someone has had a go at building one.

Suggestion number five
The transportation of carrying outsized loads.
Pure whiffery but can be based on Real World vehicles,  ships,  aircraft or spaceships.

How's about a good ol apocalyptic GB .
Would cover anything and anything across the centuries..alien invasion...the Z's ..a chemically infected wasteland ..so on and so forth.
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

TSR2s with gun turrets?  ;D  ;)

Give me time on the first of your choices Dave.  ;)

What do you think prompted the example, Kit? 😉

What  about jet aircraft using only radial or turboprops?

Or siege engines to breach a castle or fortified location. Aviation is ruled out.

Lunar vehicles or spacecraft even a combination of both. A delivery system to carry the Lunar vehicle to the planets.

Tanks a lot.
Alternative armoured vehicles with turrets or heavy guns

I think that the wacky racers has been mentioned before but could include TV and film related vehicles in a form of a tribute but you're not allowed to use the actual vehicle model kits. As long as they represent the vehicle.

Dora the explorer!
The 1920s to the 1930s was a great time to explore foreign countries so specially built support vehicles were needed for accommodation, eating and planning.

Call me thick but I don't understand. What are we starting with and what are we supposed to end up with ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Battle of Britain 1936

VE/VJ Day 1946

Re the VE/VJ day idea. Would both have had to have occurred in 1946 or could one have occurred earlier or maybe later ? So VE Day in 1946 but VJ day in 1948, or VE Day in 1945 as was and VJ Day in 1946 as was likely without the Bomb ?

The government has banned all turbofan and jet powered engines so the owners or operators have to resort to turboprop or radial engines to power their aircraft.

Shame Terry hasn't been around for a while, he'd be right in...  ;)
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Has there been a "Great War" group build recently?

Failing that, a Mud Movers ground attack build would be good.

Maybe a Thunderbirds style rescue vehicle theme?

Speaking of Thunderbirds, how about a display team build?

Entertaining that thought - why isn't he falling backwards as soon as he is pedalling? ;)
