I have a long-standing project to build a few different versions of the USN Slow Battleship of January 1938.

Phase 1 of the project is a 1980s version. Still a work in progress, but it is pretty close. I will eventually backdate it to 1945-46.

The hybrid in the background is what I built out of the spare parts. Also "in progress". It will probably stay in hybrid configuration.

What scale may I ask ?

1/700, which is a bit unusual for me. I usually prefer to stay between 1/500 and 1/600. I like full hulls.

Mine will have a lowered quarterdeck, as a call-back to the older USN BBs.

He does well with the full hulls!  Dave, you should share more of your subjects.
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.
