I used a pen I got from Ali for the Fox mirrors and it really was a proper shiny chrome. But really only good for small applications; mirrors or bumpers perhaps.

The Vallejo 'Cold War Silver Darts' set I got has a range of silvers and they look quite good.

I used one on a P-47s underside and am impressed. They brush well and, though they need a couple of coats, they look the part.

Suprised me as well. The guy who comes down from Birmingham with his trade stand was at the last London show and had a lot, so I bought some. They are also still on the latest Humbrol enamel paint listing.

I've had mine for decades, could be over a quarter of a century easily.

A couple of mine were running out, so I was glad he still had them.
