It is I, Anatoly reporting from hiding in the capitalist state of Michigan.  Ah, the weather here reminds me of home on the Baltic... cold, warm, cold, all before noon.

I present another glorious example of Soviet engineering!  Another figther to fly off the Sovietski Soyuz class of ships, though this one is more of an attack figther than an interceptor.

This particular model's designation escapes me at the moment, comrades, but it is a two-seat model specialized for carrying out strikes at sea.  This example is armed with anti-radar missiles and two unguided, medium anti-shipping rockets.  The ventral fin has been split into two smaller strakes, and the arresting hook is behind doors located between the strakes.  The forward landing gear has also been modified to a two wheel configuration.  It was replaced in the early 80's aboard carriers after only about ten years in service.  It served the Soviet Union admirably in those years.

This is a 1/72 Eastern Express SU-22(somethin'-er-other).  The model went together with a few fitting problems.  The plastic that they used for the model is also very soft, so that provided a bit of a problem as well (things breaking easier than they should).

Comrade, like yourself I know little of this aircrafts technical specifications, but what I do know is she looks like a proud and deadly warrior serving her motherland to her from the imperialist Americans and their European lackeys.  Thanks to out security measures they will only be able to guess at her capablities, and with their typical capitalist arrogance they will underestimate her, though even western imperialists will have to admit she looks extremely fine
