Rollout day has come and I present to you the F-61F Archangel III. I see this A/C as a high speed nuclear delivery platform or nuclear air defense.  I know it should probably be an A or B designation, but that didn't stop the fine folks who gave us the F-105 or F-117. ^_^ . :D One photo to give a comparison of size to my other creatures of the night. I hope you enjoy. :D

Reading belately this topic: I love your F/A-34   mix of F-16&18 and your 4-jet model is amazing too, so well balanced
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

Wow! You really pulled it off, the result is excellent.

Fan-bloody-tastic Eddie, you've got a hell of a line up there. That big 4 engined monster have got to be my favourite. Awsome work.

Looks like a giant brooding Raven sitting there - great work Eddie

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Wow, not very often that a guy actually gets SHIVERS looking at a model but this is one of those times!

Amazing how CLEAN your finished product is, Eddie, especially when you consider the kitbashing work that went into forcing the different components together.

What a big, impressive beast!

Can we get an animated icon/smilie of us bowing while chanting "We're not worthy!"

??????
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Oh MAN!

Are you sure you didn't used to work for Gerry Anderson?

The F-61 has an incredible anime look to it -- which I love!

Awesome work! Things like this are great 'cause it makes me want to be a better modeler...

Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part...

More into Flight Sim reskinning these days, but still what-iffing... Leading Edge 3D

Thanks to everyone for your most kind words. B) Honestly, I consider myself an average modeler. The thing that helps me is my camera is very good at hiding the screw ups. :D Thanks again.

I guess I'm going to have to lookup this G. Anderson. This is the second time his name has been brought up.

Rallymodeler, I appreciate my giving you something to work toward. That is very flattering, considering all the fine builders who are much better than I am at this site. Who knows, one day you too can experience the frustration and sheer madness I go though to build one of these monsters. Just Kidding! It's all worth it when it come together in the end.

I love the Archangel. I hear the only problem with her is that she's so fast at full afterburner, the the clocks inside her start to run backwards!

*Grin* Eddie, I suspect one has to be "of a certain age" to remember Gerry Anderson.  B)   He did a number of TV shows with puppets in the 1960's with Supercar, Fireball XL5, Stingray, and Thunderbirds being the best known in the US.  He also did a couple live-action shows, UFO and Space:1999 (the reviews of the later suggested that the acting was so wooden, he might as well have used puppets *LOL* ).  He had a taste for interesting looking vehicles, to say the least.

Now that's a cool thought.  B)  I guess I should have installed a flux capacitor!

Two of my all time favorite shows growing up were the Thunderbirds and Space 1999. I see now. ^_^  Thunderbirds still come on and they are still the coolest! Thanks for the giving me the heads up.
