deadline extension?

bearing in mind I will be on holiday when the current deadline runs out I thought maybe you would all appreciate an extra month for the build?

I doubt it's only me who leaves things til the last minute anyway so a bit of extra time is always welcome...

so, how's the 30th June sound?  :huh:

As you're on holiday at the end of May, June 30th sounds fine by me.
It'll geve me an extra period to sort out photos.

Well apart from building "funnies", I'm involved in the "Hurricane Build" organised by Richard Farrar to celebrate 70 Years of the Hurricane in essentially 1/48th models. I've at least half a dozen to go at....kits and decals, stories, etc., acquired. Most will be post-45 too. All real.....except that a non-to-subtle suggestion was made that I supply a South American example!! To good to resist!1
So.......

Pause as a big Wokka-Wokka flies past at about 200 ft!!!!!!

Now then I also have several RN real projects on the "go"....Corsairs essentially, again post-45. REAL again as well.
I'm "gearing myself up" for a major 1/48th "build" on Post War RAF subjects.....so far I've guaranteed 6 to the group, but there's more, all again real with stories, starting with an already begun Thunderbolt I (P-47D razorback) of 5 Sqn, still in service as late as March 1947.

Very busy times ahead.

Plus I have to worship Kate Garraway, who's just done a bikini-photoshoot for a magazine........... :wub:  :wub:  :wub:  :wub:  :wub:  :wub:  :wub:

Phew! :(  'Cos I was wondering which one of my three was gonna have to be sacrificed for the others. It would have been a shame if it was the Gannet, after I had finally found a full set of Pocahantas action figures.

Good, because I spent a really boring bus journey home thinking of another South American entry.
Narses spoilt it by mentioning a Mexican '109.....can't repeat what my exclamation was, but I sincerely apologise, it was just an impromptu reaction! Need to re-think now. But never fear, I will (re-think that is!)

Yeah, June 30, 2006 maybe.  <_< I just can't seem to find the time to finish anything to clear the deck for my Peruvian DDH. If I can just get to the local home improvement store I can finish a couple bases and then mount a few nearly finished projects.

Sigh. I love spring, but there's so much to do and never enough time...  :rolleyes:  
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.
