I've been working on this for too many years on and off and finally got it to this point.  I'm not sure how to paint it, but I'm thinking of lots of hanging lots of missiles on it.   :D   I've got a 48 scale version going too, but it isn't ready for the public yet (think American Flanker   ).

Depending on how masochistic you feel, there was a design for a fully-vairable inlet that could've been used on a higher-performance F-16 variant.  I found the write up in an old AIAA paper and, IMHO, it'd be a nice addition to this - either that or the LO inlet of the JIST testbed.

Last one, I promise.

Yes, I'm sick, but everyone needs a hobby!  Besides, what better use is there for the lawn darts?

HOLY FECK

I thought I was brave putting twin tails on one, that is cool. The thrust to weight ratio on that thing would put it into Warp speed wouldn't it?. Come to think of it what do you need the wings for ?

Just another thought - consider the shaping of the upper surface of the YF-23 as the forward fuselage blends into the rear fuselage and engine nacelles.  It might help with your contours there.

Thats some serious kit-bashing you got going there.
