Heh, considering where I work, when you get it finishsed, if you can get a good picture that looks real, I'll slip it up on my wall at work and see if anyone notices.  :D  :D  :o  B)

Normally, I HATE lawn darts, but that beauty is simply gorgeous. It looks mean and purposeful. As for a colour scheme, try an aggressor one, as iit seems the most appropriate to me. Then some overseas markings as well as some very colourful schemes to boot.

Very cool.  Anything that has these guys crowing and hooting over an F-16 is something sweet indeed!

Hmmm, inbetween the motors/intakes-good place to mount a Buffalo (AIM-54) or two methinks.

I'll second that!!

Mind-blowingly cool idea there, wish I'd thought of that one!!!!!!

"there was a design for a fully-vairable inlet that could've been used on a higher-performance F-16 variant. I found the write up in an old AIAA paper and, IMHO, it'd be a nice addition to this - either that or the LO inlet of the JIST testbed"

Okay, I may be crazy, but I'm not nuts!  My scratchbuilding skills will need a lot of work for something like that.

"consider the shaping of the upper surface of the YF-23 as the forward fuselage blends into the rear fuselage and engine nacelles. It might help with your contours there"

Oh, the contours were a B****H.  My 48'th version will have a very different look to it...if I can ever get back to working on it.

I've thought about aggressor schemes.  What about Russian all the way?

I'm not too big on them either, but they are great for hacking and bashing like this!

With any luck, there are a couple of JMN's just having fits over this right now!  Thanks for all the compliments.  I've found so much inspiring stuff on this site that it is incredible.  I'm glad I could finally give something back!

Absolutely stunning. There is so much you can do to a F-16. Very eye catching.  Thanks for showin' your work.

The next step is the paint job so it is going to be a little while since I have to rebuild my paint booth

I am wondering about the load to put on it.  Wingtip missiles are a given, but how about underwing?  I'm torn between more missiles and loading it up for air-to-ground.....bombs or missiles....missiles or bombs......
