Great job on the weathering as well. Looks like you forgot to do one missile, tho...ii kinda stands out, with no markings or weathering !

I don't weather my missiles, either.  Would figure they don't get too weathered by the time they get used.

Don't know about you but I sure wouldn't want to be flying around with a zoom-tube on my wingtip which had been mishandled enough to have become "weathered"!!!

Well, where to start.

Both AMRAMs were weathered. One is just to close to the flash to show it. I know it was weathered because I still have them.  

It's Scootermans fault I'm here. He invited me so if I overstay my welcome talk to him.  

I am indeed from the better part of North America (we're on top so don't you forget it). British Columbia.  

Caustic it is. I'm been told it matches my personality. I think they were kidding.....  

Painted in Gunze paint with pastel chalk for weathering. Decals were from a great company called Signiagraph Edgeless or something like that. Dry transfers. They were a freebe from the company to trial. I used to get a few sheets here and there for that reason. Wish they were still around.

Thanks for the comments. Time to paint the saddle area on the new incarnation of the CF-16B and think about maybe doing one more what if.

Another BC boy, eh ? I was born in Comox, way back in 1970......been in Ontario since, well, 1970 ! My RCAF Dad was oh so happy to leave behing Voodoos and Argus' to drive a truck in Borden !

What if's are still hard for me to do so the only way around it is to do them as realistic as possible. Weapons, markings and the aircraft have to be rooted in what was happening at the time the a/c is supose to be in service.

That's fine, it's basically in the style of The Wooksta! Then there's the Alvis style at the other end of the spectrum. (We have one pervert with a fixation on Gannets, but he's almost harmless.)

Now the obligatory question - Where are you located? Don't need a street number, just a city. If you're Canadian you're going in a back story.
