Damm Pollux, that Desert Typhoon is simply gorgeous... Strangely enough, I have some Kuwaiti Lightning markings waiting to be used. You might have given me an idea on how to use them.

I think my own Typhoon will be a Typhoon GR.6, the Brittish version of the KFA-1. A strike fighter of course!!
I'll do a scheme for that, in desert camo too (and even if my model is a single seater, I'll draw a 2-seater one for NARSES )

I just saw the Kuwaiti Hornet's scheme: it's beautiful!!!

I don't know why, but I always thought that it was the same two grey camo than in the Navy.

For my Typhoon, I use the same scheme as the A-4KU. But after having seen a KAF-18 camo, I think I would draw another Typhoon.

I have some never-used Kuwaiti markings -- actually it's Super Scale sheet 32-99,  "Free Kuwaiiti A-4KU, Saudi Arabian F-15C & Tornado". 1/32 scale so there's no way I'm ever going to use them...trades?

I only use 1/72 scale for my models (in fact they are old models I never built).

I really do like the Algerian F-18's, especially in the pale desert cammo.

I really love all Desert camo. I have some project for a Rafale, the Typhoon and maybe a F/A-22 with desert camo. (And maybe a Mirage 2000-15 WW to test the paint )
And of course the F/A-18 one!!

And I also want to do my F-35I with israel marking and scheme!!  B)



....Oh my g...!!! So much project and only 2 months!!

Just a few help: nobody knows a good site with profile (or 3 view) view in color with the camo of the Kuwaiti Hornet And maybe with a lot of camo for all types of plane...

On ACIG.org, I find the old A-4KU camo but not the new  F-18 one...

I'm thinking I might do a Tiffie in the old Dark Earth/Mid Stone over Azure Blue cammo to see what it looks like....add a sharks mouth to it as well.

It's not easy to work on the Sea Gripen with my girlfriend at home (never forget: "Computer is Evil!!"     ), but I'm still trying!!

The three view I got aren't very good so I have a lot of work. Moreover, I have to design the whole landing gears, to design a new wing and a new nose...

And so there is!! The KFA-1 Typhoon with the KAF-18 camo



It was difficult to do this one, a good training for more complicated models (I have my Gripen to do, and a Mig-29 and J-10).

Finally, this kind of camo is better with the elegant F/A-18. For me, the Typhoon is done for simple 2 tons camo, more agressive. That's why I prefer the Typhoon the the A-4KU camo

Pollux, I love that Kuwaiti-fighter you got there.  If I had some Kuwaiti decals, I know a certain ATF that would be a proud member of the Kuwaiti Air Force.

Electronic painting is always more difficult than what you can do to a real model.  Stop playing with MS-Paint and grab a brush!!!  Don't you have a J-10 to do?  What's it gonna be?
