QuoteYou should find out if anyone's doing a Captain Scarlet remake!
I would if I know who that was. :D That's why I like this place, you hear of new things all the time.(To me at least) :)

QuoteI don't know how big it really is but it "feels" huge. Very ominous looking.  It begs for a nice Star command type paintjob.

This is how it looks next to my Skyraider. Looks like I'm gonna have to put up more shelves. :)

Well if it turns out as nice as that Raider it's gonna rock! Yep more shelves are probably required, you don't think we are going to let you stop now do you?

Check out this link, Eddie.  It's the old Angel Interceptor modeled by Alfred Wong.
Not saying it's the same (by any means) but yours could be a 21st Century version if they were to do an updated version...   ^_^

After staring at this thing for what seems like months, I decided to do a bit of tinkering. I "fixed" the vertical stab,( it was really bothering me) and removed the winglets. Should I leave the winglets as they were, invert them or leave them off altogether. Your opinions are welcome. :)

I think very small winglets would add a bit of detail without being overpowering. Maybe about 1/6 of what you had.

I'd say to go for smaller winglets, both above and below the wing, like the vertical tails on a XFV-12A.

Still a different opinion: put the winglets on again as they were: wonderful...
(impossible to please completely everyone, we are all different, and all of us will accept/approve your final choice, I am very sure, let you decide, modeller, creator!)

Thank you for your suggestions all. I think I've reached a happy medium with the new and improve titanium alloy winglets with Sidewinder rails included. Now I can move on. Again thanks to all who voiced their choice. :)  B)

I always thought something was missing from that particular model, but I could never put my finger on what.  Now, it feels like the design is coming together.

Hmm, makes me consider replacing the wingtip Sidewinder rails on a suitably equipped aircraft with the dual Sidewinder Y-rails off the Crusader.  That could look interesting.

You and me both. After I changed the original design( should have never done that!), this has been one big pain in the butt. It now has become a challenge to finish, in the respect that I don't want to, but I MUST! The only thing that makes me look forward is the landing gear I'm building and the weapons load out this is going to have. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to dress this dog up. :P
