Quotea J-19C (or F-19C). 40 aircraft produced
And the F-19 mystery is solved in the same story! ^_^  As a bonus, thanks... :D

Pollux, that's dead sexy.

All three versions are actually.
Now...who is going to make it in plastic?

QuoteNow...who is going to make it in plastic?

If someone want to do one of them, there is no problem!! It will be a real pleasure!!

Because I have to many what if project and I know I never have enough time to build all  of them...

Moreover, I think (no, i KNOW!!) I'm not good enough to scratch an entire plane...
Do you see a plane yet existing in model that I could transform in J-18 or J-19???

It's a real challenge, something only Eddie M. could do!!!

Oh!! I forgot: do you guys are any idea of a camo for those fighters??

I'm a real crap with Photoshop, but I will maybe try to color one ;)

QuoteOh!! Elmayerle, I don't know what is "RHAW" and what the Northrop PD are??
It interest me a lot ;)
RHAW = Radar Homing and Warning - basically ESM (Electronic Support Measures) that tell you you're being painted by a 'bad gu's" radar, what kind of radar, and where it is.

The Northrop PD design I referred to is one that never made it out of Preliminary or ADvanced Design but which i later acquired a drawing of when the file was "purged".  Rather an interesting-looking "bird".

OK!! An advanced RWR I see ;)
Thanks for the info ;)

Assuming I can get my home PC to cooperate (I'm writing this at work after hours), I'll see what I can do.

Ack!  Ack!  My heart!!!   >>>poof!<<<

:o

Oh, by the way: VERY cool design. One of the most intriguing concept aircraft I've seen in years.

Oh!! Thank you!!

I am very happy you guys enjoy it! ;)

Indeed it's one of my more curious design this year... No, it IS the more curious design I ever do!!! :dum:

PS: I'm working on the color scheme, but it's really difficult to use Photoshop to color...
So, I need a few days ;)

For the moment, I do an Olive Green one...
But do you think another camo could be good?? Chinese camo aren't so original but I could try something...

Maybe grey? Blue? or even a splinter one??

Kind of a quicky but I always liked this scheme :)

I thought it was my monitor ! :P

Looks like this could be a case for "shadow shading" camoflage on the lower wings ?

Chris

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

BlackOps' art gave me 2 pleasures:
- an easier basis to make a more-twin-boom derivative (J-18T?), see below.
- a very nice choice of the comparative different port/starboard possibilities, read as an asymmetric single plane     :D    Wonderful idea, source of many possibilities, OH SO MANY :)    ;)  :P

OMG!!!

Thanks Black Ops!! It's wonderful!!
I try myself to Photoshop my draw, but it's very difficult!! A girlfriend tell me how to paint without erase the plane lines just a couple days ago!!

Just a question: how did you draw the chinese markings?? and how did you turn them into the position you choose? It could be done with Photoshop??

Great job and great scheme!! It is funny because it is excatly the color I chose for my... hum... draw trying ...
