Here's a few shots of my Skyhawk project ... there's an FG.1 (A-4B), an FG.2 (A-4E), and FA.6 in work.  Still have a bit of painting to do before I can close things up and get moving again
The FG.1 will most likely wind up with wing tanks and centerline buddy store.  Here's the pit for the FG.1

and here's the seat that I plan to use in the FG.1 ... still need to clean it up with a wash ..

And here's the FA.6 pit ... I kind of built up the throttle and stick head for that HOTAS look ...

Also have another one, as yet undesignated but probably something like NF.7 or NG.7 and maybe RAF ... dedicated night attack with Lantirn targeting turret in the nose, sidestick controller to open up the display area to an advanced cockpit, extended tailpipe, and some other stuff, including IR guided bombs based on the GBU-16 with new seeker section similar to the JASDF GCS-1 seeker.  Need to get a few pics of some of those components though.

thanks for looking

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Amazing cockpits - what scale is it ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thanks for the comments, guys.  These are the 48th scale Has kits (B, E, M).  Here's some stuff mentioned above for the NG.7.  Starting point is another M kit.  Lantirn pod front end stuffed into the M's nose area and still needs some putty to blend it in.  The pit has a few details added along with the sidestick ... just the head of the kit stick mounted to the right console.  New throttle shaped from some sprue.  Kit panel scraped clean  of raised detail, then displays added from portions of a BlackBox SuperHornet panel (there's an extra panel in the F-18E version ... I sanded it thin and cut out the MFD's and such).  Anyway, ...

And, just because I've been playing with the camera today, here's the panel for the FA.6 that I meant to put up earlier today.  Just an M kit panel ...

great work on those pits

Really nice, looks like it's coming together well. waiting for more pics (tapping foot impatiently) you know you could get a lot more done if you skipped meals and cut your sleep down to two hours a night  :P

Looking forward to more progress!

Thanks again for the kind words.  Not much to show at the moment ... just cleaning up parts and glued some wing sets together.  And tank sets.  Getting set to do some spray work on the intakes ... spraying white is always one of those footdragging ops for me ...

Those cockpits are works of art in them selves Gary. Waaaaay better than I can do. Superb matey, bloody well done.
