The Wooksta!

Part two

Hobbes

Ah, the infamous Canadian turd-brown camouflage, in use because the most-used phrase up there is "you can't see poo-poo in this weather"

(ducks)

Cool model. Are these from your own moulds?

Jack Bobson

That scheme doesn't do a lot for the finest jet aircraft ever.

Ollie

It looks awful.

Why?

1- It's not a CF-104
2- It's got the hi-viz roundels
3- It's ugly.

:P

retro_seventies

well i think it's rather nice.

I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Hey...don't say that..that's not fair ! For those of us that love it...it looks just right !

I mean, we used that exact scheme on our NATO based 104s, didn't we ? So, if you predated it with a camo brd, I wouldn't complain one bit ! But if you don't, rest assured, I will !

Would have been simply awesome to attend an airshow and  see a line-up of these beautiful birds....Belgian, RAF, CDN. And just imagine the donkey-kicking the Yanks would take when you show up at a meet with a herd of TsR.2s and Vulcans !

Oh, and another thing..........What do you speculate the CF- designation would be ? And would they really be known as Phoenix in service ?

Scratch the Canadian Hunter T12 to go with it
All right, then....I'll send you a Tutor, and you can mold a pointy TSR.2 nose to put on it instead ! A trade off for us buying TSR.2s.........

;)

Sounds like a neat scenerio...Canada build TSR.2 trainers ( like the 104 idea ) and we both use them.......Hmm, I'd better write this down........

I like it. Always good to see a TSR.2, no matter what scheme. In fact, when I first looked at the pic, I didn't even see the leafy roundels. And don't let the naysayers get to ya. That's why we're whiffers, right? The red-headed stepchildren of modeling.....

I may have missed this earlier, but what scale is it if I may be so bold?

Ollie

Wot, can't take a joke Wooksta?

It looks class.  Plus its the closest I'm ever gonna get to a TSR.2 kit, as the Airfix one will be out of reach (read pricey) for us to get.

I'm just slightly biased towards the CF-104, I can't help it.

If you look at my Yak, you'll see worst workmanship than you : crooked exhausts, paint overspray, open joints on the cowling, etc.

I always saluted your phenomenal productivity.

Model on! :tank:

Damm fine looking bird Wook's. Good to have you back mate.

Ooooh ooh ooh does it have a big cylindrical spinning bomb slung underneath, does it, does it?

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid
