I decided to bash my little 1:144 Night Hawk with some of the leftovers from my Super Phantom build, and it holds some promise of being an interesting bird. I've used the F-4 nose, main wing tips and elevons for the canards. More pix later....

Looks a heck of a lot better than a plain old F-117!  I like it!

Yep, a 117 with some cajones!!! (see what a Phantom can do to an otherwise dull, boring kit...)

Jeffry Fontaine

You are right, it fell out of the ugly tree.  Looks more like an F-117 that is dressed up for Halloween.

Are those parts permanently glued in place yet?
I was just wondering what the tailfins would look like if mounted farther apart (but still canted outward like a Hornet's) and with the wingtips angled slightly downward instead of up.

Hmmmm....

I'm glad you brought that up. I had several ideas for this one. I'm going to try yours and one other that was on my mind. Maybe they're will be a vote on which one looks best. :D

That's sweet! I think rectangular section thrust vectoring ABs would be cool also...

Here are the other designs I came up with, along with JHM's idea. :)

Agreed.
That first one in the second set looks so futuristic yet believable.

Finally, the Stealth "Fighter" that really could be a Fighter.
