QuoteI agree. Second set, first pic.
Yeah, what he said!  It looks right.

I'll just add to the choir, the second set, first pic, is a stunner!

I'll be the dissenting voice and say that the 3rd one in the 2nd set of pics is my favorite.  Not that there is a thing wrong with the overwhelming favorite, it looks really cool!
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

BlackOps

Cool! I like the one with the rear stabs attached to the wings...kinda looks like the Himat.

Let me add my concurrence for the first pic of the second set as being the best-looking choice.

By popular demand, here it is :) .Up on its stems, no less. Just a trial fit ti check ground clearance and it looks like I've got a bit of an issue. Shave the winglets or lengthen the gear, Decision, decisions... <_<

Look behind you!

BlackOps

I vote for take a bit off the winglets...but dang that's gonna be cool :)

Ooh! Ooh! I know, I know! They are more level for take-off and landing, and lowered for high speed, just like the B-70.

At least, that's how you explain it to the uninitiated...

MMM

Can't remember the name offhand, but wasn't there a US experimental V/STOL fighter with that kind of config (canard and large wingtip-mounted tailfins), where the rear wheels actually came out of the lower tailfins?

This design could also use the "Shinden" solution- wheels on the lower fins.

very slick looking...yeah, maybe raising them just a hair or so, but it does look super cool like that...very ominous!

Actually, by NAA-Columbus, but you've got the number correct.  Unfortunately, 'twas a most unsuccessful design; mind you, though, I'm working on somectol derivatives as "what-ifs" since it does have a unique shape.
