Ooh! Ooh! I know, I know! They are more level for take-off and landing, and lowered for high speed, just like the B-70.

At least, that's how you explain it to the uninitiated...
Same thing, really, as the ventral fins on the XF8U-3.

Ugly my arse, that looks better than the original, wierd angular little fuzzy bunny that it is... ^_^

Ahem.  Nice one, Eddie.  Love it

That is weird. This has got to be the second or third time I've conjoured some thing up that already exists and I have never seen. I wish winning the lottery was that easy! Thanks for all the enthusiasm about this bird. B) Now I need to come up with a paint scheme that will work with this wee aircraft. <_<

Howdy Everyone! Remember this one? While I'm waiting for thr REPAINTED <_<   rotor blades for my Fire Apache to dry, I thought I'd try to get this one moving again. This is a primer coat of flat white. I think I've got a paint scheme conjoured up and it may be an idea borrowed from the armor guys. More soon..... :)

Ed! I'm surprised and a tad disheartened that your Night Rhino looks so similar to my U-5 Sentinel!

I promise it was my own idea! I didn't pinch yours! Promise!

Extremely nice BTW.         CANAAAAARDS!

Eddie M.

Well, I finally got around to trying out the idea I had for the paint. A lot of you will see what I did right away. If you'd like to see how I did it, just shout out and I'll give up the "secret."  ;)   Let me know what you think, because I'm not 100% behind this one yet.

I'm guessing that it involves cheesecloth, crossed fingers, generous quantities of whisky, and some good luck?

Eddie Eddie Eddie, we don't really care if you are behind it, because we are behind it. Just get it done, your fans demand it, stop griping, etc. etc. etc...  ^_^

Cool! Which F-117 kit is this? Dragon?

John Howling Mouse

Something haunting and scary about that scheme on this particular bird, Eddie.
It's like you've had a subconscious glimpse into the actual future somehow.

Interesting..........still no comment on the similarity between this and my Sentinel?

Great job Ed. Is this the technique you described to me? Or something new?
