I know I should be building the Secret Santa kit, and I'm planning on doing so, I promis. However this was already on the bench and I'm trying to get it done first.
My first kitbash and you guys are to blame for this

I'll share the story later, after it is finished, but I can tell you that it will be Belgian, offcours   .

Still a little sanding and finetuning needed here and there but then it's off to the spraybooth for priming, hopefully tonight.

Ohhhh...how about NASA bright markings??? That is one nice looking jet...(edit:whoops, got so excited seeing the pics, I missed the type...Belgian camo...cool !  The Hercule Poirot of fighters !!!)

What nils said.  It does look right.  You could really fool some people if you left it naked, and painted it in a nice NASA test bird scheme.

definately grey, not sure yet if it will be 2 tone or overal light ghost grey but leaning towards the latest.

That was my first idea also but someone sugested to go Belgian with this and I decided in favor of that. I can tell you it will be special though.

Indeed , F104/Mirage V halfbreed with a touch of F 16 in it. Like Ollie already said, the fins are the F 104 wings.

Nope, Belgian, SABCA for those who know it, build aircraft.

The rest wil be reveiled in due time. Have it primed by now but that showed lots of flaws that need correcting so I don't think it will be finished soon. I'll keep you posted.
