How will the B-1's weight be supported on the crane?

I have a swing arm that will drop down from the trapeze and connect to the mid/back fuselage.  Scavenged it off a WW2 Battleship.  ;)

Wow...

But is there any runway in the world able to allowed this giant flying wing to take off and landing??
Or is it nucear-powered, in flight for months, years maybe??

When I was 12yo, I draw a giant carrier, a kind of war island, a 3000 m runway monted on 10 super-tanker with refuel system for SSN and SSBN on them (I just saw a James Bond movie were 2 subs gone into a super tanker)... But this was nothing compared to your flying giant!!

I've been sweating the runway issue for a while now.  It is in fact nuclear powered, but it has to land if something goes wrong, so I'm settled on the salt flats for now.  Also, the gear is not wheeled.  It's an updated version of the tracked wide dispersal gear they tried on the B-36 (and others) back in the 50's.  Like these:

My back story has 8 of these constructed.  2 are in operation at any time, 2 are on one hour scramble, 2 are on one day scramble, 2 are in refit.

Naming convention: Air Force Generals.  So of course, this is the USS Curtis LeMay.  Yup, I've been thinking about this for far too long.   :dum:

Oh... I don't know

Si je l'ai, il doit être perdu quelque part dans mes dizaines de dossiers...

If I find it, I'll post a picture ;)
