It will be nice to REALLY have some of those for real...for now(we got only dutch AIFV)... sholud be a good deterrence for our neighbours in the north...
As for the M1A1, we´re getting Leopard 2......

Welcome aboard Dex!

I'm just discovering armor modelling after a long love of aircraft models, so it's nice to see some armor on here.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Thanks AeroplaneDriver....looks like there are lots of airman around here
best regards

Yes, thanks to remind us: "desert" does not mean automatically "Africa or Middle-East or Australia" but also Chile for the Atacama, Google reminded me so nice landscapes in Atacama, almost as beautiful as Patagonia. I hope your protection army will not frighten the tourists... My parents have visited Chile 4 years ago, and came back delighted... Not famous but wonderful, Chile deserves success in our hearts :) Welcome dear ;)

Welcome aboard Dexter, some excellent models you got there, especially like the camo netting on that M1A1

And good to see another armour modeller, we got a lot of part-time armour guys here (including me).  You tend to see a lot of people saying "I really should build some armour", but we're mostly into planes.  But I got a (real) Crusader II on the bench atm, and I'm really enjoying building it, first tank in 8 years!  :tank:

^_^ Well Tophe, our Armed Forces don´t messed around with tourist....in fact, you barely can see them in some cities, and the discipline in all services are REALLY HARD in the relations with tourists subjets....if someone on leave do something not according to discipline and teachings of those intitutions.....that guy is in BIG troubles...

Hi Mike, didn´t think in one of those for 2 reasons:
1.- The swedish isn´t a regular supplier of Chilean Armed Forces, our equipment comes from USA, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, France and Israel, so my what if´s are not that far from reality ;)
2.- Just don´t like that tank.....

Check the storylines I made for the models here

After I place those models on dios, I´ll post more photos
Best Regards ^_^

Another welcome to the site (from Canada).
Great looking tanks!
Yeah, I certainly fit into Nev's description/category of "I really should build some armour" and, seeing the latest wave of superb armour displayed here (including yours), I really will dust off a tank kit from the shelf and get started...soon...
