Well, it's done. Revell of Germany's 1/72 Typhoon built as RNZAF EF-2000K #2197 from Number 75 Squadron as it appeared on 12 May 2019 at the start of Operation York, the New Zealand component of the US/Commonwealth campaign to neutralize the Islamic Republic of Indonesia's offensive military capabilities. This particular airframe would sink an IRI frigate and shoot down two IRI Su-27s by the time the 18 day campaign had ended.

The kit was built straight from the box; finished with Gunze acrylics, homemade roundels and kit stencils. Weapons from the kit and Hasegawa's weapon's set.

How did the country lose its way...when did we stop rooting for the man with a flame-thrower or an acid-spraying gun of some kind?

Wow, what a lovely model    The camo is lovely and subdued, and all the hues seem to almost blend into one, would be very effective methinks.

A wonderfully executed kit

Agree with the others, I don't think it gets any better than this! Gorgeous seems like an under statement!
