Help needed !!!

Hi !

I got spare kits I wish to bash...

These are all 1/48 kits :

An F14 Tomcat, a Mig 23 Flogger, an F111, and an AV8B

Can you help me with any Whiffy design ?

Any idea welcome ! And it could wear a CAF camo, why not ?

How about swapping the front end of the 111 and F-14 ? Or a twin engined, twin tailed Flogger ?

And evrything should wear CAF camo. If not, there's RCAF and RCN !

Ah, yes, but a TWIN-FINNED (Note: I did NOT suggest "T-TAILED") Harrier with swing wings!

And CAF camo/markings are where the smart money would go.

Dropping the Flogger nose on the 14's fuselage and wings might be cool too, lotsa engine there. Love the swinger Harrier idea though.

Okay, ready? AV-8B nose on the F-111. Split the F-14 and add it's engines and it's wings to both sides of the F-111( 4 engines altogether) and then 3 tails! Or.... make an X wing of some type with two sets of swing wings.

Hi Eddie, hi all,

I luv the idea of the front AV8B on the F111 enlarged body(-builded) with F14 engines. But that means 4 engines with potentially 4 afterburners, that's a good thrust !!!

However, would the Harrier aerodynamics be well suited for that machine, that could reach a good Mach 2,5 ?

X-swing wing you say ?? That would be a bit less wise than the Mirage 2016 I got on the bench, but I am gonna think of a possible design of that !

I do hesitate between something wise that could exist, or a totally crazy design that would look rather more funny than airworthy.

But you all gave me ideas, I'll get em kits on the bench soon !

Any other ideas ?

how about a total frankenstein, highmounted F-14 wings aft, swinging forwards, and the flogger's wings at the mounted low on the nose, swinging backwards. F-111 cockpit somewhere between, along with harrier air intakes.

Forward swinging F14 wings with the F111 nose would look cool.

Do something like the F/A-37 Talon from "Stealth".

Use the F-14's wings, forward swept at the rear of the fuse, put big honkin' elevon tails like the F-23 just behind them, use the F-111's nose, but make it single seat...

Use the Harrier's main landing gear as the nose wheel and the F-14's as the main unit, but modified as a trailing link unit.

I couldn't help havin' a tryout ! Them kits are all aout of boxes, I am checking things out !

I dunno by now if the nose will be the Harrier's or the Tomcat's, BTW I'm trying the AV8Bs by now, I'll soon let you know !

I think I will use 4 engines (thanks Eddie !) and the Tomcat forward swing wings...

Will send pics asap !

What about that ? It all came in easily, and I am quite pleased with it, let me know...





The front end is the Harriers', then a part of the Mig23 just aft, with cannards in place of the Migs swing wings, and then the F111 body (including the cockpit, 3 pilots in dat plane !!!), enlarged with F14 wings sweeping forward !

Are you still going to use the harrier cockpit?
