G'day all
Modeling Madness today has as its feature article my build report of Airfix's 1/72 Spitfire as the Prototype K5054.
Spitfire prototype conversion
This is my first conversion with aftermarket bits, so I'd love to hear your opinions

Ollie

Yes, great job on the build and the write-up buddy!

AeroplaneDriver

Beautiful!  Simple and uncluttered.

Great job
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

That was a top notch build and review article Zac! It was nice to see something a little different. I'm a big fan of the Spit prototype and I think you really did it justice with your work! I'd love to see one in that 1937 camo pattern mentioned.

Well Brian, thanks for your kind words...I have a soft spot for K5054 (as my username and avatar will tell you B) ) and next time I am in the same room as the Airfix kit and the Aeroclub conversion we'll make beautiful camo together! I really enjoyed this and you're right, it'd be good to see "K" shed her civvies in favour of a more militant outfit! (Plus I wouldn't have to deal with those white metal exhausts!)

Everyone - it means a lot to have such experienced modelers talk so highly of my work. Thankyou all very much.
