QuoteHere's how our front room looks.  Yes, the pizza guy thinks we're nuts, too.
But, this is a room where Ms. Hitler and I can do our crafts/hobbies side-by-side.
I'm getting to the point where I don't even feel like working at the bench if she's not around...

You too huh?  Wife and I love having/sharing the same creative space. Unfortunatly we don't have the space so we have our own seperate rooms.

Think I did it before already but here's a picture of how my workspace used to look. By now there are more models and some more shelfs and lights but basic setup is pretty much the same. It's the attic of our house in case you hadn't guessed already  ^_^

Great to see everyoe's workspaces.

Damn, how did you guys afford to amass such stashes? Mine is two vacform kits! And the sole reason the stash exists at all is BECAUSE they're vacform!

Eddie, I am so completely overwhelmed by the amount of coolness in your room! I can't believe all of those great builds came from that one desk area, I would have expected a huge assembly line and paintshop to keep up with your creative genious! Also nice to see another Kiss fan :)

Jeff G.
Thank you and thank to all who have shared their work space. B) Now that I know there's another KISS fan around, I'll show you my KISS model. Plus my ticket stubs, confetti and picks. :D

Good grief Eddie!  You cant post a pic like that and say "here is my workbench". The people want more pics of that cool looking model dangit!
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

QuoteOk Baz now show us the real bench, not the sterile one from the Ikea catalogue. No way I believe the master kit basher of twelve simultaneous incredible projects works without any semblance of clutter.
Okay, okay: the un-retouched, real thing in all its horror (in the basement).

See why I need a proper "shop"???

Did you hear that? That was my eyes popping out of my head and my jaw hitting the ground. You Sir, SHOULD be building models for a living with that set up,IMHO.
Absolutely incredible work area. Now I have workbench envy. :) I'm at a loss for words and that doesn't happen very often. My question is ,where are the Umpalumpas that run all that wonderful machinery? Out to lunch? You've got a cool place there, very fitting of the Master! B)        :)

Good stuff Eddie, I used to have a shoebox almost full of concert ticket stubs that I had intended on getting framed, then one day during a cleaning frenzy I just tossed them out and I have regretted it ever since, it does me good to see yours on display.

Barry, I should have known you'd have your own secret underground skunkworks...the clean little window desk is just to throw off the weapons inpectors isn't it  :P

Patrick, that is an awesome work space!!!

Still not buying it <_<  Wheres the bits of styrene? No dust on the floor, no tatty used up bits of sandpaper that you just know will last a bit longer, no rags, and not a jam jar in sight

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

Nope, that's the honest to goodness horror of it all: "Oh the humanity!"

The note up on one cabinet about "I love Daddy the best" is a scam, though.
Ms. Hitler had originally written "I love Mommy best" as if it was from our daughter (to see if I would notice the comment) and I quickly edited it!
