Hi fellows,

Here's how I do my decalling.

Cut out the decal and dip it in warm water in an old OZ camambert tin.

Remove and place on a piece of tissue.

Prod it with a brush until it starts to move.

Tweezer it onto the the plane and slide the decal off with the same brush.

Postion and mop up water with tissue.

Use Mr Mark Softer. I'm still using the same bottle I bought in Japan in 1990!

But the other day my wife was going to throw out the spongy, pad-like thing in her powder compact when I decided to liberate it to use when mopping up water on the plane's surface after the decal is in position.

And golly, it works quite well.

Happy New Year to all.

What's the air mail rate to Canada? My wife has never worn make-up.  ^_^

Nah, but you've given me an idea. I come across a lot of different types of packing material in my job, and some of it is just that type of sponge rubber...
