Nice looking TSR.2, Zac. Ahhh, Legos, the object I wasted my childhood on.

Oh, and Cap'n. You shouldn't be complaining. At least you've got a woman....... <_<

Aw, Jon, there's someone for everyone. Even a lost soul like yourself. If I can get lucky in love, so can you.

Congratulations Zac: inventing an aircraft modelling with no need of weeks sanding again and again... ^_^

While I was married, I managed to acquire a large stash of Legos, probably bigger than what I owned as a child.  For whatever reason (per the wife), it wasn't okay for me to buy/build models, but Legos were all right as long as I didn't spend a lot.  I think it was the idea that anything I built could be easily disassembled for storage.  I built lots of "concept models" for things I planned to kitbash in styrene, but none of those projects ever came to anything, so far.

I spent a couple of hours while I was off last week sorting through boxes to see just how much Lego I have.  It's scary, really.  A few years ago, I tried breaking them down by types of part, and sorted most of them into a stack of Plano cases (the type made for fishing lures).  I think I have five or six of the 3 cell x 6 cell size, and four of the larger 4 x 10 (or whatever), plus three shoebox-sized containers full of odds and ends.  One of those is full of nothing but assorted Bionicle components.

Since I've gotten back to actual models, Lego has lost some of its appeal.  I might end up selling some or all of what I've got.  I don't know yet.

QuoteSeriously, this is the look I just got 30 seconds ago.

Dude...don't DO that!

Yikes! That's not a knife...that's a statement!

I made some bonus points with the pink vampire build, and she likes sailing ships, so right now we're ok...but she gets really pissed when I go around the house with a pt boat making noises.  Everyone's right...hang onto a girl that has fun with models !
  Lee, cool lego build !

Yeah, I did an Airwolf too about six years ago. Way too cool.

So which Lego guy is the sourpuss Jan Michael Vincent and which is the jolly and rotund Ernest Borgnine?

Captain Canada

Looks good, Wooks...but any JMN will spot the patch covering the wrong eye.

Love the one about it being more accurate than the AMT/Ertl kit !

CANADA KICKS arse !!!!

Long Live the Commonwealth !!!
Vive les Canadiens !
Where's my beer ?

Looks to me like Ernest Borgnine is the one in the helmet and Jan Michel-Vincent is the one behind the controls. I just hope Jan doesn't get confused and think he's still in "Damnation Alley".

Giant cockroaches...yum!

Just thought I'd show you her with some teeth. GRR!

Are those red loads "massive destruction weapons"? Beware of Mr Bush, NZ... Some weapons must be only in the right side, and what-if modellers'side is the wrong one, almost officially... (leading JMNs saying)

A (repost?) also of my Lego twin-boom helicopter...

Don't tell me the rotor is too small, I am a what-ifer... Simply increase the rpm and the machine could take off ^_^
