One more for the night....

Painted up my FRC ( RHIB ? What does that stand for ? ) and added a few bits and bobs to 'busy up' the deck. The mg stands are made from rod, plus the pedals from a 72nd scale Sea King, which seem to fit perfect ! I also added some ammo boxes to the guns.

Tomorrow I want to work on a fuelling station up front, and was also thinking that the HIAB could swing out and refuel the SHAR whilst airborne !?

Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat, if I remember correctly. It's a boat with a solid bottom and inflatable sides.

M : " yes, they are, I painted them, just like the FRC, I should know "

Anyway, they were red, so I painted them orange.....I must have been drunk that night. Also painted up the mg and the ammo boxes

See those little squares between the preservers ? Those are Sea Sparrow launchers.

the bird getting ready......that's the lifting jig I made up for it. A couple of 48th scale sway braces, evergreen 'I' beam and a lifting lug. Pic is kinds blury......

I drew the little dude onto my 'portable work board' so I could equate scale.......

Woah Cap'n! That trawler is just the thing to keep them sneaky Danes from scarfing up an island or two off Greenland. Team it up with the Ollie Torpedo Bomber and you folks in the Great While North will have no more troubles!
