hi all
I think here Im on the right place....thank Simon :)
I was made what if things since some years but aircrafts are a new domain...
not really new but newer :)
this on is a griffon powered hurricane from revell/hasegawa kit.
some parts from the icm spitIX and some "heat" formed parts makes it complete as a RN Hurricane...
hope you like it :)

regards

Interesting aircraft, with the Griffon and the double wing fold...

Holy plastic----you're right: "Thank Simon"

Glad you are here.

Now, where did you find a Rev/Has kit in 1:12 scale (as that must be what scale your model is with all that detail   ;)   )

Hope you will provide many pics as you build so we can learn from your techniques.

I'm overwhelmed by your skill.

You must be Canadian?   B)

That looks great. Nice peice of work there.

If I do belive there was a plan to fit the Griffen to the Hurricane to extend its service life a bit longer. Plus didnt Czech Omega do a kit of it in 72nd scale?
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

the drawing is from a polish monografie about the hurrican.
they showed some projects with the griffon, bristol hercules and napier dagger engines....all looks great and by the revell price of the hurricane about 15euro are all olanned to build :) hurry is one of my favourite aircrafts...
but the anounced trump kit in the 1/24 scale is simply to big ...on in 1732 would by buyed easily ...

thanks for the comments :)

Sweet......Hurricanes are beautiful aeroplanes, and they look even tougher with the tropical scoop. Then you add wing fold and four bladed prop ?

My only advice ? Would look alot coller as a post-war RCN type than RN !
