Thank you one and all. Your kind words are appreciated. I wasn't in the best of moods yesterday and y'alls praise helped quite a bit. :)

JHM,
I thought the same thing. I was hoping no one would say that it was a Viggen rip off. ;)

Other than the fact that it was a serious proposal, how about the F-15 wings on a F-4?  I think you'd need a bit more than the F-15's wings to properly fit the F-106 fuselage.
Umm..it WAS? Being as I've got F-15 wings left over from my Napa build...and a "few" Phantoms laying about..this intrigues me..you have any conceptual pics out there? (hint hint)

I would never claim it was a Viggen "rip-off" but >>hint-hint, whisper-whisper<< I sure would like to see it in a modernized lo-viz version of Swedish splinter camo and their roundels and...oh...I have to go fondle my Italeri Gripen model now...

It must be too warm down here in Texas, cuz something affected my brain and this came out. :P I almost like this one more than the F-15/106 model I started yesterday. :)

Brilliant, as expected.  Paint scheme?
SEA Camo?  Can't help it: that's always the first one that comes to mind.

Now that you have the two mock-ups, will you build both for sure?  Simultaneously?

I will say that with the idea of the KC engines, I did chuckle to myself a bit. It's definately different than all the rest( by the way, that's a Phantom nose on the tail :P ). When will I work on them? I can't say for sure. Sometimes I go though creatives phases where all I do is put stuff together and the other times I work. I will finish both for sure. I only have 10 or 15 models going at once. I think it's time to start the work part and finish a couple real fast. ;)

Okay with me. It just takes time to get use to the voices. What? No, shut up! Okay!
They said they'd love to get out a bit. ;)  :)

Nope, just a write-up in the old Aerofax book on the F-4E that one of McAir's F-4EJKai proposals included a new wing aerodynamically indentical, or very similar, to the F-15's wing.  Considering that trial fits show the same root chord, it doesn't seem that improbably or difficult.

I like that.  Going to extend the centerbodies for supersonic inlets or leave the inlets as they are?

Evan,
I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what you mean. Does that mean set the engines up like the B-58. I would enjoy any help you could offer.

I kinda invisioned this being some kind of recon bird. This one came together out of the blue, so I'm not sure what I want. :P
