QuoteEvan,
I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what you mean. Does that mean set the engines up like the B-58. I would enjoy any help you could offer.

I kinda invisioned this being some kind of recon bird. This one came together out of the blue, so I'm not sure what I want. :P

If you're going for Mach 2 or higher speeds, you'll need to set up the engine inlets like the B-58's.  If you're not looking to cruise at or above that speed, you don't necessarily need them, but you do need some other tweaks to the nacelles.  Mainly, if it's going to be going supersonic, you'll need a fairly sharp inlet rather than the rounded one subsonic aircraft have.

It's nice to have an engineer to consult. Thank you very much. B)

Lucky for some. I wish I had a personal Lockheed-Martin consultant for my Superscooter project  <_< .

*Chuckle* You have but to PM or email me.  I'll be glad to be of any assistance possible.  If you can get my email address from my registration data here, substituting "@lmco.com" for the other ending will reach me at work.  I think if you look back, I've made a few Super Scooter comments here and there.  Then, too, I've my own project along those lines, but it's only in the early stages.

Well, assuming she's in the mile-high club, is she kneeling or sitting?  ;)

Let's just say the answer varies over time, something of a positional variable.

QuoteIt must be too warm down here in Texas, cuz something affected my brain and this came out. :P I almost like this one more than the F-15/106 model I started yesterday. :)

Y'all remember this one? Well, it's gettin' warm in Texas again and it's time to do a little work on this project. ;)

Kinda looks that way, doesn't it. I'd forgotten about this one, but am eager to get some work done on it.

Still in the design stage, but I think I can get three seats in there. :f16:  :f16:  :f16:

As always Eddie, I love it.

It most reminds me of the Tu-128, the "fighter" that looks like a bomber.

Perhaps she's a low risk, lower operating cost substitute for the YF-12A in the heavy interceptor class.  She'd look great as the F-113 in ADC gray and Michigan Air Guard markings.

Maybe the UK buys her after the TSR.2 is cancelled.

USAF might like her instead of the FB-111 in the "medium strategic" role, or as an ecort fighter/jammer for the B-58.  (The jammer easily buys you the three seat option).
