Ta-183

This one is the closest to being finished. I just have to get over this loss of motivation for modelling that I have had.

That land dreadnought is the bees knees! Love the way you're melding W.W. I technology with it.

Well the land dreadnaught went through many concepts from a steam tank to a WW1 plan 1919 breakthrough project.

Someone on this board and I can't remember who suggested a German Ogre and the idea stuck.

I'm calling it the Ogre of the Steppe.

I actually made some more progress over the last day or two so I should have some updated photos soon.

HEY, we'll have no more of that talk around here!  ;)

Keep 'em coming!

Well it has been a couple of things that have really killed my enthusiasm fo modelling.

A particular kit from hasagawa that has tested my patience and my ability to breaking point!!

The fact that I have been diagnosed with hooping cough and been sick for the last two months. A job that entails being away for 1/3rd of the year even while sick.

I think that the best cure is to work on some fun projects that will give me the fortitude to plough on.

Like that 183 - what a cool camo scheme! I tried that on Monogram's 1:72? P-40N.

Thanks

Ahhhh the wonders of bluetac.

Great for camo schemes where you want a nice soft edge.

The scheme is straight from the instruction sheet.

Absolutely stunning.  Sorry to hear about your whooping cough.  I've had a similar affliction for past few weeks.  Can't seem to shake it, either.
Hope you feel 100% asap and a sudden urge to model whenever the opportunity arises (IMHO: your quality deserves to be applied to the hobby so the results can be seen by all!).

Nice looking Ta 183!

Sorry to learn of your illness, last year I lost many hours of model building time because of health issues so I know what you are going through.
