That land Dreadnought is kick donkey

I want a real dreadnaught...hmmm then I can let my road rage flow!
Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try.

BlackOps

Both projects look worthy of finishing! The Dreadnaught is way cool looking and the TA 183 is very clean...almost like it wants red stars for decorations  :D

Great stuff, Sisko !

Love the land Dreadnaught as well...what a cool idea ! Makes me want to build one myself.....someday !

What are your plans for the FW ?

And agreed, that's enough of that talk about quitting. Modelling is just too much fun, and relaxing. When I'm stressed I can't wait to fondle some plastic....and find myself daydreaming about it.

Sorry to hear about the illness. Hope you get well soon !

Made some more progress on the Land dreadnaught promise pics tomorrow.

As for the Ta-183 going to be a fairly standard. The camo is straight from the instruction sheet.

It's funny but I started the dreadnaught project about 3 years ago and it has been started and stalled many times but at the moment I having the most fun with it that I ever had!

I think that I needed a fun project to get my enthusiasm back.

Anyone ever consider modifying the Ta 183?

I'm going to put wing fences on mine. The Soviets put some on the MiG-15(which has a very similar wing planform) and Focke-Wulf engineers put a pair on the IAe 33 Pulqui II...  so i figure theyd find their way ontp the Huckebein eventually.

Btw, love the ultratank. Ever read any of Kieth Laumer's "Bolo" stories? Not that interesting books in my opinion but I loved imagining what gigantic futuristic "Planetary Siege" tanks would look like B)

The Amtech I plan to build straight from the box but I have the Arba resin Ta-183 and I plan to go to town on that one.

I plan to lengthen the fuselage put wing fences on and change the tail plane configuration to closer that of the Mig15.

I also plan to put a hump on the spine ala the Skyhawk for extra fuel as well as modifying the nose for a radar dome similar to the Sabredog.

That German tracked thing is just what the RCAF's Typhoons like to bomb.

:P

Damm, that thing is bloody amazing!
If you love, love without reservation; If you fight, fight without fear - THAT is the way of the warrior

NARSES2

Now I do like that Land Dreadnaught but you do have to feel sorry for the AA gunners - everyone else (any idea how many ?) is under a few inches of armour and there they are with all them Sturmoviks and Typhoons coming in and no armour ! Punishment battalion crews by any chance ?

The MKII can have Flak Panzer "Coelin" type turrets or something from the "Drilling" ?

Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

This beast is not really designed to operate in the forward lines.

It's more of a seige breaker.

I'll reveal more later.

Yes the anti aircraft positions are a littls exposed I would not want to be in them.

Sisko that's gotta be one of the most interesting armor whiffs ever! It just gets better with each pic! The only thing is, with all those guns, it would need an ammo train ten miles long.

Hey that reminds me of an old country song...

Great whif! Can't wait to see this one painted!

Still one of the coolest pieces of armor I've ever seen...now, we just need to have tamigawa make a production version for those of us less skilled !
