QuoteThat German tracked thing is just what the RCAF's Typhoons like to bomb.

:P
Hmmm, will he add guided missiles (the ones on the Ta-183) and radar? This will make it able to blast the RCAF and RAF Typhoons and Tempests from the sky!  ^_^  B)

Oh hell Sisko, that is one seriously awsome looking armoured bohemouth. I'd hate to be facing one.
Beautiful looking cammo scheme and superb building skills.

Subtle but what a difference! I can't wait to see this finished.

I would hate to be the ammo boy....boy fetch me another round!...boy! over here! more anti- aircraft rounds now! Boy up here, we need some HE rounds!  :dum:

Actually I'm guessing a monster like this would be mostly automated.

Something that big would need a Munitionschlepper riding around inside it.

Nah, it'd probably just be a series of conveyors and mechanical arms.  Ouch!    Survivors of these units could serve as alternates in the Wermacht boys' choir.

Thanks for the encouragement guys.

If only I used my skills for good instead of evil!

Well made some progress on the beast.

Washes shading and pastels to give it a real down and dirty look.

This process is not finished by a long way but I thought I would share with yoiu guys were I am at.

This will probably be the last I do on it for a couple of weeks as I am going away.

Any way enjoy!!!

The model was given a clear flat coat with a few drops of brown.

Then brown ink was applied and this was blended in with pastels to give a dirty dusty appearance.

To come

Pastels and weathering to be completed. Rust streaks to be added and other detailing to be picked out.

All the guns need to be drilled out. A crane has to be built and installed. Lots of mud needs to be added with airbrush and putty.

This is the fun bits.

I will then work on the Diorama. The tsarist dreadnought is in the works but needs a long way to go.

I recommend going down this route.

Aye Carumba!!!  :o  :o

Are you putting some figures on it, to really give it a sense of scale?

Regarding the fighting in Russia after WW1, Britain sent a small force to support White Russia against the Communists.  Churchill was all for sending most of the Army, but Britain was tired of war by then.

Sisko, that's one of the most amazing, incredible wonderful armor whiffs I've ever seen! Every pic update you post just makes me more and more impressed with your skill, imagination and talent. That dio you've got in the works is gonna be one for the books!
