The idea for this is based on a Longrange ,cold weather,patrol fighter. Budget restrictions only allowing for a small number of 707 type tankers being available various "extra" fuel would have to be carried.
All of the displayed tanks were( will be ?) fitted and tried out.

Watch this space as they say.

....now on to the "Northern Lights" low vis scheme adopted just before final cancellation.

The last "Low Viz" high latitude scheme ( with just a hint of pink for our mate Radish).

THe whole project was scrapped after the icing problems with the French "Le chic " radar and the buget wouldnt allow for a refitting of the Bung and Ollieson "eyes down look in" radar and laser disk system.

I think they were transfered for trials down under......but as I dont have Kiwi markings ...it was most probably the Aussies got 'em.

No photoshop this is real.................why is my nose growing...and growing and....

cool ! I love it when you can get 2 or 3 versions out of the same kit...especially when you get some realistic shots of each one.
