That green thing was my entry in the club show's Wacky Races table, I still have a certificate signed by Mike McEvoy giving it 'first prize for virtual probability', and he's a leading authority on such matters, as we all know.  

There were some doubts raised by my club mates over likely handling problems, and structural integrity issues.  Fatigue life really isn't an issue for a racer though.  If only I'd used Nene angines or similar, it could have entered the 1947 Schneider race but those CFM56s do place it somewhere in the 80s.
