Roger the Cabin Boy Again

Found an interesting 'Iranoplan' pic from Cosford 2001.  I think it was on the IPMS Rutland display.

Nice model nice finish.

He must have really spent some ime on it. It is an absolute pig of a kit so to get a great finish is something to be congratulated.

The fit is poor and the surface finish is equivalent to 400 grade sandpaper.

I built it about two years ago and I still have nightmares! ;)

For the newbies my ekranoplan is posted on this site in the navy section.

I thought it was going to be a couple of wooden pallets strapped together with a weed-eater motor and a Mudjahedin with an RPG-7. :tank:

No, silly,   the Mudjahaden were Afghan, not Iranian!

Nice Ekro tho!

Pretty much all Islamic terrorists/guerillas/freedom fighters are referred to as "Mujahadeen", just listen to the speeches by the likes of OBL.

Rutland?  Isn't that Terrys mob?
