After a long Jaguar build, I decided to have some fun. I found this kit over the holidays and, while looking forward to building it, thought the gray or green schemes that you'd normally find on a Draken were kind of dull. Browsing through the boards, I found what I was looking for. This will be a J-25D in Venezuelan markings. Camo will be similar to their Mirage's. I'm hoping this will be as much fun as my EF-2000K was.

More as the build progresses.

How did the country lose its way...when did we stop rooting for the man with a flame-thrower or an acid-spraying gun of some kind?

WHOA! Is that decal sheet the same scale as the aircraft?! It looks HUGE!

One thought I've always had for a 1/72 Draken is to graft on the Fieri inlets from a 1/144 F-105.  It just seems to me that inlets like that would add a touch of menace to the aesthetics.
