Now that we're going to be getting our hands on Airfix TSR2's, I appreciate that most will be building most or all of 'em out of the box.  ;)

However, for those remaining few kits, I thought it'd be handy to have a central point of reference for those scattered aftermarket bits and bobs, that may, or may not be suitable for our...er...spare Eagles.

Seriously, I know Heritage are adapting their lovely white metal and photo-etch bits...but who else should be approached with open wallet...and where do they live?

Regards,
Bruce

At the Avon show last August, I was talkingto some blokes on the SAMI stand and someone there was takling about doing a whole range of Resin aftermarket bit's for our favourite bird. I referred him onto Joe or Thorvic.

Radish was there at the time, so he may well know who the bod rom SAMI was.

Doesn't Wooksta have a cottage industry going with that

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

I know - well, to say hello to anyway - the guy who's doing the mastering and casting and his stuff is good.  He had a range of resin kits and conversions some years back and they were highly respected, inc. the best resin Spitfire 21 I've seen - and that includes the Czechmaster one.

Izzat Paul Lucas, who also does the colour schemes research?

Jay Laverty was doing something for some obscure little machine called CF105 wasn't he???

All joking aside, I was watching a programme during the week that had a segment on the Arrow, and the reason that everything was destroyed was that the KGB had infiltrated the AVRO plant and was sending data back to Moscow.

White Ensign Models are doing a limited run 'Anti-Flash White' in their colorcoat enamel paint range. unfortunately they are limiting it to 150 tins and will only produce the stuff if they get pre-orders for 100. However those who have used the paints will conform that these are pretty accurate colours matched to the real thing.

Joe,

Any chance of getting the under-fuselage conformal tank that supposedly went with the carriage of Blue Water IRBMs?

Thinks... wonder how much I could score on eBay by flogging re-labelled Humbrol white as 'TSR2 white' for a fiver a tin...
