I really can't see the third engine gaining much, if anything.  I do think, though, that the center nacelle should sit on top of the wing, much as the two modified Mustang fuselages do, in order to give the pilot the good visibility he'll need.  *smile* One small piece of advice from the point of view of the pilot's comfort, put him either in front of the plane of the props or behind it but not in it (ala' the P-61 where a belly landing could send broken prop blades through the pilot).  Personally, I'd got with "in front" so as to get the cg right with a tricycle gear and to keep reflections off the prop blades form bothering the pilot.

I like all of them!  I love the way you filled the cockpits with resin.  That will really help the next time I do something like that - it beats filling it in with bits of plastic!

thanks for all the comments  :D
must say some ideas will be included in the project!
the way to fill these big holes in the fuselage called cocpits...is the fastes I have ever made...it was ca 25 minutes needed to fill both and sanding  these (after resin was hardened...naturally).  Im thinking about a conversion  for the icm mustangs in 1/48 scale but it is precipitate to say it will definitely come out   (Tophe...you are the trigger! ;)
Im planing to make some another conversions and its time consuming to make a conversion which "can" be casted  B)
thanks again for the comments and ideas !
this is a really great site and so much fun during building kits I have since Im "a user" here is really a novelty for me
I hope to come this year to the contest  in Tellfort and see the other guys who are spooking here  ;)

For what it's worth, I prefer No. 1. Evan took the words right out of my mouth regarding cockpit location & height. Although, I think the cockpit would look better aft of the props, like the P-38.

I wonder how it would look using a modified Mustang fuselage for the center section?? Remove the chin and underside intakes, cut the remainder off right past the cockpit & taper it off, load up the nose with armament similar to the P-38 (20mm cannon & 50 cal. machine guns) and leave it as a tail dragger.

Spends too much time researching rather than building...
