Exactly Narses. According to my wife the box they are all in looks undamaged which is a good sign and shows hannants must have packed it well.

Plus, and not to rub it in Zac, I got my two from Airfix today as well complete with prints here in Oman!

To be perverse, it's not as big as I expected... ;)  But, then again, I have been playing with the DV 1/48 one so my perception is slightly skewed.

So that's nine for me with another coming from a friend in the UK.

Cheers

Got my 10 today  - WO HOO!

I agree it does look smaller than I thought and like Tony I to have been dealing with the DV kit and also my 1/32 scratchbuild. Get out the magnifying glass

I've got 2, seems reasonable when I've got about 500 other models planned, and more importantly, a wedding to pay for...  ;)

QuoteHow long is "a while" for you, Martin? IS IT MAY?????

Jeez man, ya nearly blew off the sad remains of my hair

Well mine came today and the box is HUGE! Model looks bigger than a B-17 too.
Mind you I'm a little dissappointed with the quality, I was expecting more of Airfix, where's the clear plastic STAND?

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

Hi,

I have received 16 so far from various model shops, hoping to get around 25!

Mine arrived in Akron, Ohio, yesterday.  No time to even open the box yet.

Sort of made up for the Habs loss to the Leafs the night before.

Well i've just returned from holiday and my count now is 8 for me and 1 I got for a friend. Considering I only heard about the kit in November and didn't think i'd be able to get one, so didn't try till last month, i'm rather pleased. After 15 years out of modelling i'm really looking forward to getting going. First will be a 'real' one followed by an FAA scheme for the large fleet carriers built for the navy in the mid/late 70s. Then i'm waiting for add ons to appear before the rest are done.

cheers

Well babies, the inevitable "slagging" of course is going on, but Dale Clark, Ex-RAF SIG leader....got fed up with all the gov't crap coming his way....says it's an easier build than the Hasegawa Lanc.
It's just AMAZING that no one slags Hasegawa, but their 1/48th P-40s and Harriers, for examples, are split into so many bits, they could almost be French!
Once you've visited the land of the Loonies, a return is never far away.....

QuoteTerry, the hobby is so busy wanking over Hasegawa's shadow, Hasegawa could rape and kill their daughters and they wouldn't bat an eyelid.  Anyone else - except mevvees Classic Airframe - and they'll slit their throat if they have to use filler.
You tell 'em Guv...go stamp on all their toys!

Though one wonders how Aunty Doris, a keen ornithologist, might wish to explain the self-pleasuring abilities of Falco subbuteo to...er...Little Johnny! ;)

Wellcome aboard Jester - and your the second person I've heard return to the hobby because of this model  :D

And a FAA carier based version I do want to see

Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Well, what I was afraid would happen has happened. I've had to pass up the TSR2 that was put aside for me due to a serious lack of funds. Ah well, I understand that the TSR2 will be re-produced in 2007, so I should be able to pick some up then.  Life surely sucks at the moment.

Tried to PM you to sort out your situation.  Doesn't seem to be working. Please drop me a line.

Through the assistance of one of our UK members, I now have my first one.  I'll definitely be buying more as I can, way too many variations to play with.
