Woah.......

You could always toss a few spent cartridges around the cabin as well, seeing as you keep adding stuff to it !

Great stuff, Leigh !

As for talent, I dunno I think anybody can do great models if they are willing to put in the time and effort, and I'm still marvelling over Damien's Lego Harrier and how I wish I could do summat that cool.

Thanx for that dude, its a small honour to be thought of thusly by your peers! Its been 2 years since I last got this far in a kit and I have to say all the comments from here helped ALOT!!!!

Thats one fantastic model you have there Leigh!!! I think all that scratch building is awesome!! I have yet to attempt someting on this scale!!!

HUZZAH!
Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try.

Spent cartridges - good point. The poor SEngO and his linies will be doing loose article checks after every trip so a couple of collection bags on the ejection ports of the MGs would be useful.

This is truly inspirational work!

QuoteLeigh, I must pay you the highest compliment our board allows - Its Baztastic!
Thanks, Nev!

Leigh, I think Ms. Hitler just paid you yet another compliment.
Looking over my shoulder at the pics of your outstanding interior details, she innocently remarked, "Wow, do you think *you* could ever do something like that?"

Please tell us that this fantastic build is going to continue in the "Show us your current project or workbench" forum, right?!

Well I hope it'll just continue here, but I too have been in  burnt out mode on this one, so after a month of finding "other" stuff to do I finally got back to it today. It's one of those projects that whenever I go to do one thing I find two more that have to be done first. So today's goal of getting the canopy on was never realised, but lot's of other bits were and i'm just sticking to what's in front of me right now, and trying not to worry about the finish.

Tell you what's helped with my modelling doldrums is joining the local IPMS chapter, the idea of sharing all these with other people in "real" time and the once a month meetings and project deadlines has been a real shot in the arm.

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

Well the canopy's on and masked and it might not look like much in the way of progress but in my building process that means it's ready for paint  So primer tomorrow which will also be the base colour. I'm so lazy you may well notice that most of my builds have Wal Mart equipment grey primer as their undersides and hopefully done painting by the weekend.
