I'bve started ths thread to let every one post thier progres on the builds.

Ok apart from Martin, who has his first completed, spawny git :P  :P , my first build has gotten it's first coat of paint. All over Light Aircraft Grey. As soon as that's dry, it'll be onto the res of the painting. The 2 top colours  will be 2 different shades of blue so a 3 colour scheme overall.

Anyway, post your progress here.

I've narrowed my choice down to 3 kits.  Does that count as progress??
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Snipped some parts off the sprues, no more. The rest of my 'progress' is in getting some other kits out of the way. So far, I've prepared 3 for airbrushing, with one more almost ready.
I also wanted to finish my 'Instant Sunshine' project, but I just found out that the dimensions of my ALCM are completely wrong, (thanks to the pics I took at the RAF Museum at Hendon last year) so I'll have to start from scratch on that one.

That's an easy fix for a whiffer.  It becomes the IIIC-2a variant of the ALCM!

Erm glued some subfloor into the cabin, and scratched my head alot wondering how the hell I'm gonna pull this off?

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

I've painted all the cockpit interiors on my four projects. The P-36 floatplane has had the fuse glued together, the gear wells filled, and the gear bumps removed from the leading edge.

I haven't made any progress since Friday NZT. I can't until I get my Lycoming cowls. If I see something that interests me I may buy it to soothe my modelling needs.

Airframe entirely together except canopy (even though its RAF it has the Canadian canopy for better vis. No camo yet (though I'm tempted) cos I may need to use some putty/filler to allow the cowl a natural fit.

Working on the cockpit of #1, and waiting for the others to arrive...yeah, another diorama...ah well.

NARSES2

Uh - I've pulled the boxes from the stash - I didn't realise this was a speed build ????
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

gooberliberation

I've snipped fuselages and wings off sprues for dry fitting, fondling, and combat trials(flying them around the room making noises)

Ordered decals on line.  Fondled plastic in box.

Kit is relatively simple, so shouldn't take too long.  Filling and sanding will probly take the most time.

This is most definately NOT my day!!!!!!
The paint job was looking good until the second colour went on. What a feckup!!!! overspray, all sorts of other crap.  Ah well, back to square one.

I put my kit on hold at my LHS. So I guess, in a way, I've started !

I need to see what decals I've got as well.

Have a few beers and the day will automatically get better, Lance !

Got my cowls today from RotorheadTX......THEY'RE STILL ATTACHED TO THE AERO SUBARU!   Free kit for Zac! So today I'll graft the cowls to the Chippie, then paint, and she'll probably be done by 5 tonight!

BTW, I was sent home early because I wasn't rostered on today! Wage-saving exercise you see   .

EDIT: Just wanted to add that I am now working on ANOTHER Airfix Chipmunk kit for the GB, I just hope you all like it. Thanks to Ollie for his input! ^_^
