Just awaiting the canopy to arrive from Airfix (it didn't come in the kit) and then I'm almost done on my first one.  Stroke of luck, I already knew what I was going to do with the kit so all I had to do was wait for March to begin!

Snipped fitted, attempted scratch building...and have realised that I had to remove the cockpit segement on my Hawk to paint it black and gre and greeble it up a bit with boxes and wires    so just did that, thank goodness the glue is still "wet" so removal was easy!

Tomorrow some work n the CAF A-7 (not for this GB) and puttying the wingtips to try and even them out somewhat...Oh and finnishing off the pilot and seat...

My canopy arrived yesterday, which means my first entry should be ready tonight and pictures posted tomorrow ^_^

I've started it, but it has been pushed back behind a couple other projects. Building up the interior is giving me ajita, but I may finally have a solution. Once I have an interior, the rest of the kit should come together quickly.

Well, I've redone the base coat, so now it's back to the commo colours. Only this time I think freehand is a no no on this one. Back to the masking tape.

I've started my second build ^_^

I love Airfix kits, so easy to put together that you can have one built, filled, rubbed down, primed and given a first coat in one weekend.

Awesome.

For my second entry think 1950's Blue Angels with a twist.

Ok, I've got the cockpit done and installed and I've closed up the fuselage. Got putty on the wings, hump and rear cockpit (to close it). Also done the Hellfires and their launcher. Pics will be forth comming as soon as I'm done with the cockpit and wings...
