Backstory and build report to follow once she's complete - still need to trim the filler on the nose, fit the new cowl and get it all looking shipshape. Enjoy this first little teaser!

Same here, Ben. But I;m gonna try and pace myself on this, I don't really like rushing.

Here's some more pics. Cowling is on, but still a way to go.



This gives a good idea of how she'll look - the prop isn't glued in though.




Not too much progress expected in the next coupla days - but come Wednesday and Thursday (mid-week weekend, WOO HOO!), oooh, watch out! ;)

I like the look of your Chipmunk there Zac! That Lycoming looks great on it! I can't wait for mid-week to see how this all comes together.

Looking good, Zac.  I'm going to be real interested in seeing how you fair that much wider firewall and cowling into teh rest of the fuselage.
