Here's a bit of what if whatiffery. since i won't be able to find a 747 in this scale,

BUILD one, then!

Maybe just the top curvature of the fuselage could be represented by a sliver of painted white ABS pipe, engraved with a few panel lines and some antennas fixed.

You could go all-out designing and building some mounts/struts and the fuselage sliver could serve as a model stand, yes?

What happened to the twin hog thing? haven't seen it for awhile. That was one I was really hangin to see finished.

I got to spray some paint today. It's starting to show some potential.

Cool!  I applied a similar paint scheme to my F-23-based spaceplanes a few years back.  One of these days I'll finish one of them...

I get to have a little fun today with paint and plastic. I get my birthday as a paid day off, so I'm enjoying it. The only drawback is that my little girl is sick. It's a helpless feeling when they don't feel good.  

I did a little more painting and I put the canopy on for looks. A little minor surgury and it will be done.

Tell you what, she's a real looker, birthday boy!  I can just imagine buck rogers falling asleep in one of those only to get woken up by tweekie (yawn) and wilma (sproing).
