Funny you should mention this one. I just got this REALLY big helicopter in the mail and I've just reset set my priorty list for the coming weeks. In no particular order, (RW) CH-53, F-4S, F-14A and Dreamstar. I had the wings out yesterday looking to see what I need to move it forward. Update soon....;D

Good luck dude, Lovin the Dreamstar . . . Y'all are seriously turning my hands blue here, can't wait until I can get out of my armbrace so I can model again!

This certainly has been a long, strange trip. My building drought is my own fault in that I let myself spend too much time looking at others work and thinking," I'll never be that good". It should have been obvious the whole time that I got into this genre of modeling because I wanted to do it my own way. I lost the spark, but I think I see off in the distance and I'm headed toward it.

Starting out as a Day of the Cheetah inspiration, the Dreamstar has become self aware and now directs it final stages. I've also decided to do it gear up. It will look slicker clean and I've got no real shelf room right now to display it.

Know exactly how you feel, Eddie.  Forget about comparing with the work of others.  Instead, look at your own previous successes and always keep in mind that the one you're currently working on will end up as another masterpiece.

And I am so glad your drought is over.  This is so far the best thing about my coming home from work early today!  Keep going, Eddie.

Thank you Gentlemen.

First primer coat. something strange has happened. I sprayed this outside and in the cold air and the putty is bleeding through white. Strange....

Yeah, AirNinja!
Don't know about the putty showing through.  What kind of primer did you use?  I use Krylon sandable grey (spraycan): never had any issues.
